From the hearth to the finishing details
A fireplace should feel at home in the room or patio around it. Natural stone offers variation in color and texture, while brick gives a more uniform pattern. Hearth size, mantel placement, clearances, and the supporting structure all need to be considered together. We discuss these details as part of the project scope.
Questions about fireplaces
Can you update the look of an existing fireplace?
An existing surround may be a candidate for new stone or brick facing. We need to review its condition, the proposed finish, and the appliance requirements before recommending the work.
Can an outdoor fireplace go on an existing patio?
That depends on the patio and the weight and design of the fireplace. The supporting base and placement need to be assessed before construction.
